    Museum Tour Day, May 15th 

    Our museum tours include the National WWI Museum and Memorial; the National Museum of Toys & Miniatures; and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art offsite storage facility.

    Since time only allows us to visit two sites in a day, there are three tours to choose from when experiencing the local museums and storage. You must register to attend this day of events.

    After a full day at the conference, enjoy a few hours together for Kansas City style BBQ, Beer and other drinks and food. Relax, mingle, and meet new colleagues. Sign up is free, but is required so we can know how many people to expect at this event.

    Buses will leave the Nelson-Atkins after the conference day ends and will also provide transportation later in the evening back to the Nelson-Atkins.

The deadline is approaching to register for the Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York (DHPSNY) first two workshop sessions of Care and Preservation of Audiovisual Materials. Sessions begin on Tuesday, May 28 at Binghamton University – State University of New York and Wednesday, May 29 at the Crandall Public Library. You must register for these sessions by Tuesday, May 14!

As always, DHPSNY's workshops are presented free of charge for New York institutions, and space is limited. Visit dhpsny.org for a complete schedule of upcoming programs.
